People, please do not take the heel height of these shoes lightly. The chunky heel and light tread lines on the sole help stabilize, but this is for extreme heel lovers willing to go to any lengths for model-like height. I once counted myself as one such heel devotee. As tempting as the thought of finally experiencing life as a 5'8'' Amazon goddess was, I was summarily defeated by this pair after trying them on. TRYING THEM ON. I wasn't even able to wear them out.*
